Care:
Sterling
silver and Copper react with air and moisture and over
time will tarnish. I
suggest storing your jewelry in a Ziploc bag to prevent
tarnishing. Occasionally
give your jewelry a gentle cleaning with soap and water.
Chainmaille pieces made of only metals can be
given a slightly harsher cleaning with a toothbrush and
Baking Soda without worry of damaging the metal.
Pearls should only be cleaned using a pearl
cleaner. Avoid
using hairspray, applying perfume or makeup while
wearing your jewelry.
Return to me as often as you like for
cleaning—all it costs you is the shipping to me.
Please
keep in mind that some pieces will be more delicate than
others, and if you have a question regarding cleaning,
do not hesitate to ask me.
Some of the natural gemstones and glass may
fracture if you bump it against a hard object or drop
it. Artisan
lampwork and dichroic glass has been kiln annealed for
durability, making them have the strength of Pyrex, but
they can still be broken.
Amber can be ruined simply by leaving it in water
for an extended period of time.
Please
take care to protect all of your jewelry from damage.
I cannot guarantee that I can reacquire all
gemstones/glass/clasps as I do purchase limited edition
and one of a kind components and clasps.
